Wage is a historic Kuitbier, brewed with 100% Dutch ingredients. The oats come from And The People's Brouwbos Sellink and are malted at Vloermouterij Masterveld. The mixed yeast culture and maturation in wooden barrels make this beer a particularly delicate and balanced ode to Dutch (beer) history.
Kuitbier is, in fact, included in The Ark of Taste: an international catalogue of endangered culinary heritage published by Slow Food Netherlands.
This beer is the culmination of the brewing friendship spanning more than 12 years between Nevel and De Kromme Haring.
